Alpine Farming and Nature Educational Trail in Kiental

The variety of topics on this educational trail is unique in the whole of the Alpine region – an interesting experience for all ages!

On this educational trail you meet not only nature and all things related to it, but also get to know the life and work of mountain farmers in a fascinating way. An original and informative trail that gives an insight into the unusual features of the valley.

Read, see, feel, hear. Involving all the senses, over 20 information panels on two circular trails give children and adults many interesting facts on flora, fauna, geology, mountain forests, streams, Alpine farming and mountain cheese production.

Starting at the Griesalp-Kurhaus postbus stop, you can choose either the half-day hike (1.5 to 2 hours) or the longer version (4 to 5 hours). The shorter route is also easy to hike in bad weather.
